VS 301: Garment Creation
Enhance your skill set of construction methods within new garment types
In this course, you will learn advanced 3D garment creation by building trousers and a blazer. Each video lesson will take you through a portion of the garment creation process.
You will begin with the trousers specification sheet to learn how it is constructed. Next, identify patterns, create the base garment, construct the waistband, fly, pockets, and belt loops. Last, materialize and refine the simulation.
For the blazer, begin with the specification sheet. Next, identify patterns arrange, set clusters and 3D layers. Stitch the main shell, the lining, and join the lining to the shell. Complete the blazer details including lapel, collar, shoulder pads, sleeve wadding, fusing, chest piece and buttons. Last, materialize and refine the simulation.
Audience: Intermediate level users of VStitcher
Prerequisites: VStitcher 101, VStitcher 201
