About this course

In this course, you will learn about the design in sizes as well as Vstitcher material integrations and advanced methods for working with 2D and 3D trims.

Begin by learning how to set custom artwork position and scale on a graded garment with design in sizes. Next, discover the many materials related integrations with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Substance 3D. Make your garments stand out by enhancing your 2D trims and importing custom 3D trims.

Sizing in  Vstitcher

 

 

Design in Sizes

In this lesson, we will learn how to position and scale artworks on a garment with different sizes.

Topics: design in sizes pane, define size group, divide size group, merge size group, lock size group, save preset, export preset, import preset, full size range

 

Integrations

 

Editing Externally

In this lesson, we will learn how to edit our material maps externally with Photoshop.

Topics: edit externally, set image editor, saving edited image, file type behavior, save copy of material map

 

External Drawings

In this lesson, we will learn how to add drawings on our garment in Illustrator using the External Drawings option.

In this lesson, we will learn more about how to use and create your own Substance fabrics.

In this lesson, we will show we can combine features and tools to create and enhance our 2D Trims.

Topics: 2.5D trims, auto generate depth map, artwork thickness, finish effect, Photoshop generate normal map, Photoshop generate bump map

 

Creating & Handling 3D Trims

In this lesson, we will share some tips on creating and handling 3D trims.

Topics: recommended 3D object creation settings, 3D object orientation, point connector, line connector, delete default connector, stitch line connector, using styling tools with 3D trims, belt buckle
