Garment Category Series: Workwear

Dive into our new Workwear Garment Category course!

Start in the General Work & Maintenance course with constructing basic coveralls, then moving onto cargo pants. From there, move into the Medical & Healthcare course to learn more advanced techniques to construct a basic and advanced scrub, as well as a lab coat. 

Intended to be a stand alone Learning Path, students from all skill levels are invited to take part in this learning content. More advanced users can skip the optional lessons, while beginner students we recommend to view each lesson.

Garment Category Series: Outerwear 

Get started in our new outerwear course focusing on essential garment creation steps, as well as constructing thermal leggings, top and a fleece mid layer. 

From there, you will explore puffy and quilting effects, including puffy effects, physics, property manipulation, as well as dive into shell jacket details. Then, construct outerwear bottoms, gain an understanding of outerwear materials including seams, trims and artworks. Finish the Path learning how to style and showcase your garments as well as build your portfolio. 

Intended to be a stand alone Learning Path, students from all skill levels are invited to take part in this learning content. More advanced users can skip the optional lessons, while beginner students we recommend to view each lesson.

Garment Category Series: Activewear

To start this course, dive into common details found in joggers and jackets to include pockets, panelling, zippers, hoods and drawcords. 

From there, you will move into specific sports attire details (tennis skirts, polo t-shirts, thumbholes), as well as gymwear (straps & sliders, binding, light padding, and overlapping designs). Next you'll explore materials including fabric, seam, artwork, and trim details and finish the course by building your own activewear portfolio! 

Intended to be a stand alone Learning Path, students from all skill levels are invited to take part in this learning content. More advanced users can skip the optional lessons, while beginner students we recommend to view each lesson.

Garment Category Series: Denim 

To start this course, we provide you an overview to Materials, linking back to existing BWU lessons. 

From there, you will learn the logic of materialising denim garments and application of materials to denim garments (washes, seam washes, destruction effects, common trims and artwork execution). You will also learn how to manage your denim materials in VStitcher. 

Intended to be a stand alone Learning Path, students from all skill levels are invited to take part in this learning content. More advanced users can skip the optional lessons, while beginner students we recommend to view each lesson.
